About the Governor’s Hurricane Conference (GHC)

The 40th Annual Governor’s Hurricane Conference (GHC) returns to West Palm Beach May 10-15, 2026, bringing together emergency management professionals, first responders, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and private-sector partners for one of the nation’s leading forums on hurricane preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.

Celebrating this year’s theme, “A Legacy of Readiness: Forty Years of Progress and Partnership,” GHC 2026 honors four decades of collaboration while focusing on the current challenges, emerging concepts, and practical solutions shaping the future of emergency management. Attendees will have access to training sessions, workshops, an informative General Session, and dedicated exhibit hall time featuring the tools, services, and innovations supporting hurricane readiness across Florida and beyond.
